BMW has released new kits for the 5 Series, new 3 Series and 1 Series hatch. The kits are not just cosmetic, but are also good for a little bit more power. They are courtesy of the new M Performance accessory programme. So whether you are driving the 520d or the 335i you’ll be able to gain some serious street cred through these items.
Some of the lovely, sporting kit to be found includes black kidney grilles, carbon fibre front splitters, 19-inch or 20-inch wheels, M Performance exhaust systems, new brake and suspension bits and others. The interior benefits from things such as M Performance stainless steelfoot pedals, Alcantara-clad gear and handbrake levers and others.
Excitingly the kit is said to up power output levels, including increasing the 2.0-litre turbo diesel’s power to 147kW and 420Nm. Later on a power kit will be available for the petrol models as well.
