“Would you know my name, if I saw you in heaven” crooned one Eric Clapton. The song was a dedication to his late son who died at 4 years old in 1991. Now Ferrari has dedicated something to the famous guitarist; a new SP12 EC. The car is a Ferrari through and through, except for one small difference; only Clapton owns it.

Designed by Centro Stile Ferrari, in collaboration with Pininfarina and the engineers from Maranello, the SP12 EC is a one-off creation especially made for Clapton. So it’s the only one that exists in the entire world.

The look and styling were inspired by the 512 BB - of which the singer owns three - and the incredible 458 Italia. It’s not said how much he paid for this car, but he is reportedly extremely satisfied with it.
