The new Jetta and Golf 1.4 TSI 90kW Comfortline derivatives can now be ordered with an optional 7-speed DSG transmission.

The DSG transmission is characterised by maximum fuel economy, low emissions and smooth shifting. The fuel consumption gains of DSG transmission can be up to 12% when compared with a manual transmission and up to 20% to an automatic transmission with torque converter clutch.

The award winning 1.4 TSI 90kW engine fitted in both models, delivers 200 Newton Metres of torque between 1500rpm - 4000rpm. The sprint of 0 - 100km/h is achieved in 9.8 seconds in the new Jetta and 9.5 seconds in the Golf. The top speed is limited to 202 km/h for the new Jetta and 200 km/h for Golf.

Fuel consumption and emissions are identical at respectable 6.0 litres per 100km and 138 g/km of CO2.

Both models come standard with a 5 year/90 000km Service Plan and a 3 year/ 120 000km warranty.
