Two performance packages were announced by Jaguar today, and not for the XF or XK, but for big daddy XJ. A Sport Pack as well as a Speed Pack are being offered, first in Europe, then hopefully here in Mzansi as well at some point.
The Sport Pack gives some cosmetic changes, such as a front splitter, a bootlid lip, new split twin tailpipes, and a gloss black mesh finish on the grille. Included also are 20-inch wheels and some interior upgrades such as soft grain leather and piano black trim with carbon fibre highlights.
The Speed Pack, only available in the supercharged V8s, raises the electronically limited speed limit from 250km/h to just 280km/h. Not sure where exactly you’d be driving at that speed anyway.
