A new Suzuki C-segment sedan concept dubbed Authentics will make its world debut at the 15th Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition, which opens its door on 20th April.
The Authentics is a C-segment sedan concept, which is particularly relevant in the Chinese market, where C-segment sedans account for the largest sales volumes in the passenger car market.
According to Suzuki, the concept fuses the themes of sportiness and elegance, thanks to its long wheelbase and an unconstrained shape. The overall height has been kept low, while a powerful shoulder line and finely executed curve surfaces emphasise the sedan’s aerodynamic profile.
Also making its first global appearance in Shanghai will be Suzuki’s new GW250S motorcycle, a new version of the GW250 road bike produced by Suzuki’s joint venture in China, Changzhou Haojue Suzuki Motorcycle Company.
By equipping the motorcycle with a half-fairing, the new GW250S exudes a sportier image while increasing wind protection at greater speeds, such as when riding on highways.
Other exhibits at the Shanghai expo will include the new Suzuki SX4 first unveiled at last month’s Geneva Motor Show, as well as the Alto, Swift, Kizashi, Jimny, and Grand Vitara.
Motorcycle fans will be able to feast their eyes on the latest Hayabusa and Boulevard M109R models.
